Maple Baked Beans

Yield:
8-10 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 1 medium onion, chopped
  2. 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  3. 3 cans (28 oz. each) baked beans
  4. 1-1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
  5. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  6. 3/4 cup maple syrup
Directions:

In a Dutch oven or large kettle, cook onion in oil until tender. Add the beans, mustard and garlic salt. Cook over medium heat until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Add maple syrup; heat through, stirring occasionally.
